Wedding 3

Third wedding and second in a week
Venue Dunglass Estate
Side. Groom. His mum and I worked together many moons ago, in my first practice Prescott’s in 1992.
The wedding is slightly controversial as despite contributing half the budget my buddy has been kept out of everything, bridesmaids colours, flowers, food ( despite her owning an Italian restaurant). So over dinner back in May, myself and mutual pal Dawn were offering sympathy and voodoo dolls. Lo and behold it got us invited.
We decided we were the unofficial ladies in waiting for Lisa and looked after her ensuring she was suitably spoiled all day with Pimms and hugs.
Her outfit was outstanding and she trumped the whole bloody lot of them :)))
Glorious sunshine, great fun with 30 Italian non English speaking relatives causing merry hell, and we clucked around like maiden aunts, patiently explained we weren’t an actual couple but kept them guessing . ;)
Apart from one Pimms another sober wedding for me, drove myself back singing happy tunes in the car. A happy day, for a Wednesday.
