The mountains were calling

Or maybe just the apple orchard. My favorite apple orchard was open with my favorite apples, honey crisp, fresh off the trees. I also purchased sweet maiai (the smaller red apple) and mountain grown peaches. These are huge compared to what we have locally.

We can’t go to the orchard without buying fried apple pies and apple cider donuts. Totally yummy!

Jerry enjoyed getting out of the house even though the ride was longer than we thought it would be. He won’t go in the car again until Tuesday when he goes back to surgeon to get stitches out and hopefully come home wearing a boot cast. No weight on the foot for 4 weeks with the boot. Still no pain except achy which ibruprofin helps.
