Yucca gloriosa

A strange thing… I transplanted what I thought was Eucomis, the pineapple lily, from my front garden to the long border. Several years have passed and it has decided to flower, and turn into a Yucca! Very odd. I don’t remember ever buying such a thing, as they are not my favourites. And I do remember having Eucomis in flower.
Anyway, it’s quite interesting looking, and about 4 foot tall so a bit of a feature… I expect I will live with it. In my garden, if it survives, it’s got a green light!
