Macclesfield FC 0 Chester FC 1

Chester's final pre-season game was at their former home ground in Macclesfield so it is a place I have visited on dozens of previous occasions. They spent two seasons ground sharing there at the start of the1990s when the old ground was sold. It was actually quite handy for me as I lived in Wilmslow at the time.  

Today Chester won 1-0 with a goal in the 90th minute and it will be interesting to see how they get on next week when the season proper starts.
