Chrysanthemum

One of the stunning Chrysanthemums I brought home from Micklems Farm where I went to an art course today  (just rather sad it broke off from the stem, being too top heavy I think, just as I went to put it in the vase).  I've put it in my 'rose bowl' in some water, where it just fits :)

Thank you for all your helpful comments yesterday!  My ankles were normal size this morning, though my knee has started being painful again :(.  Ankles a little swollen tonight, but thankfully the weather has been rather cooler today  - dare I say cold enough to put a cardigan on at lunchtime when we sat out in a marquee :)

My artwork wasn't dry enough to complete before I came home - I'll show you when its finished - suffice it to say it was great fun to mix simple collage and drawing with things like 'tealeaves from tea bags' and 'ground up chalk', even using the tea bags to create with :)  

A good time was had by all - some people created two or three pieces of art but they obviously were 'very' artistic.  I work more slowly, photography being my main hobby and I dabble in other things :)

(I need to go back and delete some extras as this is the last one now) :)

Trying to be good, so salad and fruit for tea and I'm watching the athletics.
