Winchelsea Beach

We set off in the warm sunshine to walk along Winchelsea Beach and the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve. As you can see, that’s not what we got. It was windy and came on to rain quite heavily as we approached the car. Back at home, there had been no rain and late evening sunshine fills one end of the garden.

Always an atmospheric location with the crumbling decaying groynes, more so with the disagreeable clouds.

Saturday night returns. All dressed up ready to go.

Passed 1000 miles marker in the Walk1000miles challenge for the 11th consecutive year. A couple of weeks earlier than last year.
