Theatre at the football ground

This evening we went to a play held in one of the executive rooms at Brentford Football Club's stadium, called Eng-er-land. It was a one woman performance, which I always admire, acted by Nikhita Lesler, with themes of identity, racism and football culture. The writer, Hannah Kumari, was also there, and it was part of South Asian Heritage Month celebrations in Hounslow. The blip shows an advertising screen above the windows overlooking the football ground.
