Passiflora Beetle

Slightly intimidated by this new BIG picture thingy... Particularly since it means you can see the not-so-deliberate photoshopping mistake on yesterday's blip (don't go and check, really there are more important things in life!)

Anyway, here's a bug on a passionflower. Not as cool as a pollen laden bee on a passionflower - but the bees round this neck of the wood don't seem interested in the passionflowers. Even if they were that interested, I can't seem to get close enough to get a decent shot of a bee - yet another reason that a macro lens seems like a very sensible investment....

Maybe if we sell the house - first viewing today. The said they were interested and would come back next week for another look, but then they all say that.

Grey day today - none of the locals can understand what's going on with the weather but all say that they've heard it is forecast to be much better from tomorrow onwards (and yes, they do say that every day). Cold enough to put a long sleeved top on this evening for dinner on the terrace. Shocking.
