Flax Flowers

I don't remember my New Zealand Flax flowering before

obviously it is now mature enough

way behind on here - feeble excuses coming up

1. trying to get three coats of the new colour on the summer house
2. painting the garden furniture to match the summerhouse
3. clearing old (crap) greenhouse to make way for a tool shed (to get stuff out the summer house)
4. booking flights and an apartment in Jersey City for my daughters wedding in November
5. having a bath to remove the green paint from strange places - probably due to painting wedged between a fence and a summerhouse

etc etc - the highlight was probably sitting on the floor painting the table legs as the tortoise bit my toes and Kassidy licked my nose
