Spooky.

Even hotter today. Betsy went ice-skating! Perfect for this weather as it was too hot to be outside and active.

Despite this, Chris and I did outdoor jobs for half the afternoon, he in the front garden, me in the back. Boiling.

Later Al & Chris played chess, then we all played a couple of games of Cranium.

When Betsy got back, we had chilli for dinner. Chilli on a hot day, like Betty Blue.

Our Saturday movie (which we always seem to watch on Sundays) was my choice, after last weeks Goldfinger debacle. I chose Sign O' The Times.

It's been years since I saw it. We had tickets to the live show, but they cancelled the UK gigs, I remember being so gutted. The tickets said, 'wear something peach or black'. We saw him the following year on the LoveSexy tour which was one of the most amazing live shows I've ever seen.

I remember seeing Sign O' The Times at the cinema. I don't remember where, but I do remember us researching the biggest screen we could get to.

I'm not sure what the children made of it. I was engrossed in the music and all the happy memories associated with it. I loved Prince so much, and it was a really happy time in my life.

Both Betsy and Al said it was better than they thought, and miles better than Goldfinger so job done!
