Lady Anstruther’s Tower from which she went a skinny dipping
Perfect day for it but kept my clothes to save the tourists eyes
After muttering about doing it for years, up early and did a section of the Fife Coast Path.
Parked up at Ruby Bay and off we set in glorious sunshine. Pittered pottered through St Monan’s, wee black coffee at Ardlgass, stumbled on Pittenweem Arts Fetsival in full swing. Folk seem to rent out their front houses and in move the artists. Spent thousands in my head but zero in reality. I shall be back with my lottery win.
Anstruther beckoned by 2 and fushnchups was promised, not at the infamous one, we went rogue and went to the Wee Chippy which was cheap cheerful and delicious.
Cellardyke next, , incredible views to NB, Bass Rock at the Isle of May and then the last bit went on a bit to Crail mibbe cos we wanted our ice cream. Got there in time for a double cone and the 95 bus back to the car.
18km 33,000 steps ( apparently 5k of those were in and out the art festival)
