First tomatoes

I bought a new (to me) kitchen unit to replace an old one.  In order to put it in place there was preparation to be done.

F came and worked all day moving the elecric socket and telephone point and doing some carpentry alterations to the existing shelving. He has more to do  - it's a big job!

There's never anything that I can do in return for his help but I cooked a veggie lasagne with salad and garlic bread, he's always happy with a meal.

My blip is of some of the first ripe tomatoes that I've picked.  There are more to come on the plant in a pot yet the ones in the ground have flowers but no tomatoes so far.
