'Bean' a long day...

Sorry - terrible joke, I know!

This term I have been slowly turning the corner of the classroom into a mini greenhouse, at the moment its full of basil plants, salad lettuce, radishes and beans. This little chap was part of a germination experiment we did. I hate to waste the seedlings that sprout, so I popped them into pots, and we'll see what happens! Have not grown bean plants before.

This morning I met my new class for next September - they seem like an OK bunch, although it will be a change as it will be a big class (from 20 this year to 30) - I can barely fit them all in my tiny room! Think the plants will have to go...
