Or maybe Crocosmia? They could be different names for the same thing I suppose..

I've been to the care home to visit my mum today. She was in her room and chatty for about 10 minutes before going to sleep. I'm pretty sure she didn't know who I was. 

I took this shot of a plant near the entrance to the home. I'd hoped to get Brian to take me for a quick wander round Hartsholme but it had turned chilly and was trying to rain.

I had lobbied hard to go to Daisy Maid for lunch and to photograph the animals at the little farm but once again Brian vetoed that one.

We have been to Morrisons on the way home.

Going to chill out now and have some lunch.
