Sacre Bleu!

H and I had a long trek (via Montmartre) to another DIY shop. Then back to yesterday’s Leroy Merlin.
We needed one 30 x 60 tile of the right colour etc and which, crucially, was in stock.
Ended up having to compromise on a not-perfect match. We were facing having to buy a whole pack (50 Euros) and then carry it back. But, bless her, Diane at Leroy Merlin first tried to cut down a bigger (and better match) tile and, when that didn’t work, sold us the display tile. For 1 Euro!
In the course of our walk, H bought a Too Good To Go from one of the millions of Boulangerie/Patissieries. 3 gateaux!
Back at her flat, I fitted the tile while H and C swam, then went for a run. In the evening, we ended up having wine and nibbles in the courtyard with H’s neighbours, Kadij and Yan.
