Summer .. the bunting season

The seaside always need some bunting, in this case this is some bunting being made for a hen day by my daughter. She is pulling together some decorations to celebrate next weekend with her best friend from school.  I think it looks lovely and I am keeping my fingers crossed that they have good weather for it. 
We headed over to Pittenweem to enjoy a day at the Art Festival today.. we had a lovely time and I can recommend visiting it if you are in the area!
My husband went off to his mothers birthday today but mid lunch (30 family and friends) the house went on fire.. and the fire brigade was called.  There was  a faulty light fitting which was smoldering between ceiling and floor of her bedroom.  By the time the fire brigade arrived and stripped back the carpet and floorboards it was really getting going and they say they were minutes away from it getting away from them.. phew.. as it is and thanks to them (and the great grandchild who ran upstairs to get something from her room and noticed the carpet was hot and told someone) the house remains.. although she cannot stay there for now until the electrics are back on and checked over.  It wasn't caused by the 98 candles on the cake either..
