Canvey Island

A wee Dutch house on Canvey Island turned into a museum now. The bus stop outside this museum is octagonal which I liked.

Very interesting island and lots of stories of the resilience of the islanders over the last 300 to 400 years.

Given how contentious immigration is at the moment it’s a tangible legacy that such places survived and thrived because of immigration.
