Born on the fourteenth of July
On the same day that I found the caterpillar that since then has transformed into this chrysalis among the cauliflower leaves that I brought home for Rosie, I also found two tiny caterpillars that soon followed its example. Earlier today one of these tiny ones had emerged as this moth. I let it crawl onto one of the Herb Robert plants on our courtyard where it was still sitting when I went back inside after I'd finished potting up a few plants that had been waiting there to be planted for several weeks now.
Today was another much too warm day for me on which not much got done. Several more like it are forecast and I'm definitely not looking forward to spending most of tomorrow in a meeting again.
A big thank you for the lovely comments and stars on my Comma butterfly blip from yesterday.
