Looking back to Garlieston

Dad and I headed to Newton Stewart to do a food shop once we'd had breakfast and Dad had walked Bailey. We got everything we needed and headed back to the Wheel House. A grey morning but dry so we headed for a walk after lunch walking around Garlieston Bay in the direction of Eggerstone Point and looking back into Garlieston. Lots of wildflowers, a large field half-harvested and full of crows, sheltered woods and cuts down onto the shoreline. The rain came on as we headed back and it has been very heavy since late afternoon. Hopefully the worst of it will be done by the morning.
