Baptism
This morning I thought mom and dad might like a walk over at Frenchman's Bar Park along the Columbia River. When we arrived there were so many cars in the parking lot and lined up to enter the park we knew something was up. A Russian Church was having a large baptism. We took our walk then found a park bench a distance away to watch the service. It was really beautiful, we couldn't understand the service or the singing but it was wonderful with a live band and good speakers. There were two large ships out in the channel and the music and liturgy echoed back, it was really was a lovely service. The people being baptized were dunked completely underwater. I will add a couple extra photos of Mom and Dad in the Extra Photos. After the park we stopped at the hardware store for a few things dad needed and mom picked out a few new plants for the front flower box. Then we picked up burgers and fries for their lunch.
