Derelict?

Our neighbours a couple of houses down the road had a full-electric car. Mostly driven by the female adult. The male adult was not a fan of electric cars. They installed this private charging station (and actually used it).

Now, after three years, they bought/leased another car. And guess what? It is petrol driven! So, the charging station has become obsolete and is now derelict.
