Field of Sunflowers

I'd heard that a local farm were allowing access to their sunflower field, so I thought I'd best grab the opportunity whilst it was there. It turns out that it wasn't just for this weekend, so I may well return....

So the day started quite sharpish for a Sunday, with my trip to the sunflowers. I chose 5 gorgeous blooms to bring home with me - a bargain at £1 a stem. Then home for a quick change and some food prep, before heading to church for a bring and share international lunch. Our gatherings are very informal over the summer holidays :)
