Day Fever

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Eldest Mini Princess,

Kitty Cat, Dee and I went to Day Fever today.

So, Day Fever was set up by Vicky McClure and her husband, Jonny Owen, “It's a nightclub in the afternoon for people of a certain age.”

Basically it’s 5 hours of dancing and it finishes at 8 pm. The only condition is that you have to be over 30 and I just sneak into that category!

It was GREAT fun. The atmosphere was so friendly and Kitty Cat and I both said that it felt like such a safe environment compared to clubbing in our 20s. The music was from the 60s through to the start of the noughties.

When it finished, Dee was being picked up by her new boyfriend and we got to meet him. He remarked that we all looked quite fresh after our 5 hour danceathon and Kitty Cat joked that he shouldn’t sniff Dee too closely!

Might be a while before we get to meet him again!
