Calm over the lake

I spent most of the day with T today.  R is off on a race to Mackay (well they are actually there only taking them 2 days from the Gold Coast and they left on Thursday) and she had made the decision to help Misty to cross the Rainbow bridge (dog owners will know this means the end of their lives).  Misty was 15 and a half and was having more and more difficulty walking, getting up and around and she let T know she had had enough.  Misty is Maggy's grandmother and only about a week or so ago I took a photo of her, Millie (her daughter and Maggy mum) and Maggy.  I felt pretty sad too as I have been thinking of Hamish.  It's so sad when they get old.  They just don't live long enough.  An extra is the photo of the three of them, Misty on the left.  Bless you Misty.
