On the waterfront

From left to right, Balnain House; an 18th century town house, Chisholm’s Funeral Home; once a Victorian church, then private residences. I once nearly bought a flat there. Lastly a Methodist church. (Picture excellent large.)
      I’m not sure I would class this as a great day.  When I went to mail my daughter’s birthday present this morning the Post Office was shut. (Bank Holiday.) Then I come home to an email which says I am going to have to pay for a license to use a particular image on my book cover.  I don’t know yet what it will cost. 
(Since I fIrst posted this, I've had another email basically saying £60. I am much relieved.)
