A Very Friendly Red-Spotted Purple

A very friendly red-spotted purple showed up on our porch on this morning. It flew around and around, and spent plenty of time relaxing on a white lawn chair, not far from the coffee grounds my husband had sitting there, waiting to be used as a pest deterrent in the yard. I don't know if it was the coffee that attracted it, or something else, but it was wonderful to see and gave me many lovely shots!
