Waiting for Armageddon (2009)

The last sole survivor
of the many sunflowers seeds 
Nurtured & planted,
only to be 
decimated by both
slug and snail,
ready to bloom ?
or will it meet,
 it's unfortunate doom,
consumed, 
by those voracious gastropods.
