Loughrigg Tarn
Ridiculously hot day today.
We started at Thirlmere hoping for reflections and then headed over to Loughrigg Tarn.
It's the first time I've been there when the waterlillies were out and I spent ages taking pictures of the lily pads and trying to get a sharp picture of any of the Damselflies which were mating in the grasses at the edge of the tarn. Didn't have a great deal of success with either.
In the afternoon it got hotter and I found a rock in the shade of a tree and sat there, just enjoying this view until it was time to leave.
