Artist’s Bracket Fungus

After all the excitement and activity of our last few days - looks like life may be a little less hectic until the weekend. Mrs madwill has gone to stay in Bedford for a few to be near her mum who seems to be in need of some support. Sadly, dementia is taking its toll and she needs to be prompted to do things.

So I have spent all day on laundry duty, cataloguing my photos from Birmingham, and catching up on blip!

I did manage a three mile walk and found this rather grand fungus on the cut end of an old tree trunk (I believe it is Artist’s Bracket). I did like the contrast of the pure white orange/brown colours.
