Weeding ... not wasted

I've finally given my hanky-sized front 'garden' a going over. The couch grass has been loving my neglect. It's a constant battle between us. It needed to go so I could plant up my Tatton Hall RHS show goodies. 

The mombresia is also trying to take over too ... getting rid of the escapees (growing on the path edges) ... I thought they'd look good in this posey vase that was a gift from one of my lovely sisters. They do!
