For whom the bell tolls
In our village the churh bell communicates the joys and sorrows of the community, and has done for many generations, long before other means of communication. And it rings out joyously not just for weddings and solemnly for deaths and funerals, but also every day at midday it tolls the traditional Angelus.
There's been a hazy, dusty heat today as though the winds are coming off the Sahara desert. They probably are.
Thank you for hosting Mono Monday 60 Plus.
