Life at five

Talking on the blower is rather outdated now. But this toy dates back well over 60 years. I bought it from a toy shop in Keswick when I was four or five. I still remember the thrill of choosing and buying it as a holiday treat.

Today is little Miss B's 5th birthday, although she was dressed as Snow White, her latest dressing up costume. She was watching the film while we were there - made in 1937 - full colour animation. Must have been one of the first Disney princesses. Superb animation.
