Delight

This is probably one of my favourite flowers of late summer, and gave a few different colours round the garden.
I have to check on the scent every time I walk past.
A day of chain saw and hedge trimmer… this time in the front garden.
It needs a really good cut back , but I’m learning!
I’m not trying to tackle it all in one go.. it’s far too much.
Today was the very large buddlea and three other shrubs.
A lot more shrubs, a couple of trees, conifers, .. it’s going to be quite a job.
The car is loaded up ready to take the greenery to the tip. Another reason why it will be a slow job.. getting rid of all the branches and greenery.
Now my body aches!
