Sunlight on moss covered rock
Went for a short walk along a spectacular gorge, Black Rock Gorge, just above Evanton on the Cromarty Firth this afternoon, and snapped the sunlight on this moss covered rock in an otherwise dark pool. The rock seems to be floating in the blackness.
The extras are two young birds in the back garden, taken this evening when I got back. I'm not very good at juveniles, I think the first one is either a chiffchaff or a willow warbler and the second is a pied wagtail, but I'm open to correction?
