Don't Fight, there are plenty of books to go round
A very hot and blustery day, felt like a tropical wind.
First thing I was up at Mum's flat as she is having a new bathroom and staying with us for a bit.
Then off to Juniper Green to meet with an old pupil and his mother, which was enjoyable.
Later on I met with M. We had a great afternoon catching the tram to The Foot of the Walk, to Argonauts Bookshop, which we liked a lot. One of the book sellers edits a Science Fiction journal, which M bought a copy of. Then walked all the way up Leith Walk to McNaughtan's/TypeWronger Books. We enjoyed both sides of the shop Antiquarian and Modern. They print a lot of booklets etc. They were so generous with their chat and time, also small gifts.
Next it was Fopp, Shandwick Placefor a large purchase of cds.
From here we walked back to Gorgie, at points battling against the wind.
Nice evening with mum and great news re Keely Hodgekinson.
