The nearly lens

I was lent this lens by a friend to see how I got on with it. It would fill in the gap between my current ones and by all accounts is a cracking lens with great reviews. I have tried it a number of times but just don’t seem to be able to get a sharp crisp image. The friend who lent it to me has bought the f2.8 version and is considering selling this.
A couple of days ago I sent her the message saying that I was going to stick with what I have and learn how to use those.
Very proud of myself for not buying something that I don’t think I am ready for. Never say never :)
