Modern communication

Remember when phones were actually used for talking with someone? We heard not too long ago that most younger people get annoyed when someone actually calls them and would much prefer texts. I prefer to hear someone's voice rather than to see what they've typed in a message. I do appreciate the convenience of texting though.  :-)
