Beach Magpie

While shooting the surfers in the water this Magpie literally walked up to me to see what I was doing (hence the extreme close up at 500mm). It's the first time I have ever seen a magpie "wander" around the beach. It seemed bit disorientated and I was concerned a Bird of Prey (who reside in the nearby trees) may take an interest in it. It had obviously found something in sand as there was some still on its beak.
