2024 Thursday — Stolo Concert

Thursday afternoons during summer are always good at Stolo Family Winery in Cambria for their free concert. That was certainly true today.

I could not get tickets on their website — “sold out” was the only message I could get last night; so Mr. Fun phoned midday to ask if they had any cancellations and they said “yes.” They took our names and said “come.”

I quickly made tuna salad for sandwiches, packed Swiss cheese, some low sodium chips, unsalted cashews, Trader Joe’s Meyer lemon wafers, packed the pups, and we were gone.

The concert is 4:00-6:00. Most small tables were taken when we arrived at 3:00. So we snagged a picnic table with an umbrella. I covered the table with our tablecloth, and then just before the concert started a couple arrived who needed a place to sit and they accepted our offer to share the table — Mark & Karen; fun couple.

It was just good to be in the sunshine and enjoying the tunes.
