Look out

The campsite was peaceful as most of them had been travelling a fair distance from their homes and were relaxing in the pure North Devon atmosphere.

After a shower and lunch of freshly laid eggs and some local Brie on sourdough Dippy and I headed over to Torrington for a couple of social visits and some chewy treats from the pet shop.
Back home to quickly prepare the dumplings for the turkey stew, before meeting Logan and Lorraine for a very pleasant evening stroll along the glorious river Torridge estuary. Henri and I polished off the stew and dumplings with a little help from four of the canine friends who were starving of course.
Some nice conversation with the campers around their comforting fire pits before retreating to Amadeus polished off a lovely day here in Devon’s finest location.
