Just opening up

After a heavy frost we had a lovely sunny winters day with around 13c 

This Cymbidium orchid just opened up today. They are so lovely to see.
 
Akaroa Repair Work 
Not much happening with the flood repairs in Akaroa. The insurance assessor sent me a email yesterday to say...it is taking a long time to dry the place ready for the repairs. They are hoping to start work in a few weeks. Sure is taking a long time.
