Lost Sunrise

I seem to have done nothing and been nowhere this week.

Nothing to report and nothing to photograph.

Friday has arrived and I can only wonder where the week has gone.

I know where our beautiful sunrise has gone. Lost forever behind this monstrosity, which threatens to devour the last remaining rays of the dawn today.

By tomorrow the hole will be filled and the sunrise gone for ever.

Such is progress.

They have been building for two years now, and the completion date is March 2026.

We shall see.
