The Most Important Thing

Often, the most important thing is the most needed and everything else takes second place!

The DPD delivery van brought me a big parcel this morning, just as I was returning from the shops nice and early.

My Rowenta fan arrived! Wow, that was excellent and prompt delivery after only ordering it yesterday in a shop downtown. What a relief!

The heat is unbearable and my beautiful little tabletop Rowenta broke when I tripped on the wire. This one is so big and cumbersome in my small living-room, but it sure feels good, especially when I spray my face, neck and shoulders with with Evian water beforehand. Honey likes it too. Of course, we know that fans just move the air in which we're sitting, they don't actually cool down the room we're in!

I'm dreaming of cooler temperatures and autumn!  I just have to be patient and sit this heat out. I am pretty proud that I managed to put the whole thing together with a screwdriver and sheer (sweaty) determination!
