Banksia Leaf

I’ve always loved the banksia trees, the flowers of course but the leaves are very special too. They are an ancient tree and the leaves look like nothing I’ve ever seen before, the patterns are really fascinating.

I headed up to Kings Park for a quick look around at the leaves and couldn’t go past the banksias! : ).  In extras are some of the other types of leaves I saw today and some of the lovely flowers too!   The wattle bird was at it again too!! : )
