No time to hang around on the holiday!

We cycled from our boat to the magnificent replica of the Athens Parthenon housing  busts and plaques of famous Germans through the Ages.

It was built circa 1840/50 on top of a hill just outside Regensburg and accessed via circa 350 steps which on a hot day and after a cycle ride was….. fun.. or something.

Alfred the Great was featured as he was Anglo Saxon?? Interesting!
