Resilience

We had a lot of rain yesterday and overnight and the garden was soaking wet this morning when I went outside around 7am. I was sad to see that this bee had been caught in the rain and unable to fly to shelter. I went out to check on it after half an hour when the sun came out. Happily it was moving and circling the top of the lavender to catch the rays of the sun to warm it’s little body and dry it’s wings. After another 30 minutes I went out again and it was gone, a resilient little bee.
