Sick Day

Ossian woke up with one shoulder alarmingly higher than the other and in some pain. A call to the NHS hotline later we were on our way to Little France where the systems had all crashed so no patient data was available. After a two hour wait Osh saw a consultant and then had an X-Ray. Acromioclavicular joint ligament tear was diagnosed which has led to their collar bone and shoulder blade separating. Painkillers and a proper sling were handed over and there’ll be a follow up with the fracture clinic. Osh has hyper mobile joints and it seems to be a byproduct of that.

While we were in the hospital, Ruby was having an induction session for her new (dream) job which went well. Mrs S was on the phone getting updates from the vet. The wee man still isn’t eating but the drip has rehydrated him so he can come home later tonight.

So, no shortage of excitement.
