Lunch out

Busy day. Usual pre breakfast walk, 5k run, shower, coffee and off to a pub for lunch. It’s about 30 minutes drive so we got there just as it was opening and still quiet. Sat in one of the booths in the garden as it was very sunny and they provided shade for Hetty. We then walked up the road to join the Hadrians wall path, this is one of the most popular stretches so we walked the opposite way and only passed a couple of families.
Back to make a few calls and pay the carpet shop online. Managed at last to get through to eye clinic and he agreed that my appointment should have been months ago and couldn’t understand why it had been missed, but never mind I have one on 11th September he said. Made appointment for Hetty’s vaccination and then called guy at camper place to get an update on delivery date but no return call so guess that means no closer to arriving.
Finished book, so going to start the one I got on on Friday, it’s a Peter James book and not read anything by him before.
