Two Temples

I didn’t think about the significance of this shot til now. I just noticed the interesting reflection in the glass frontage of Weatherspoons. Then I realised it’s symbolism. A modern day temple to drinking reflecting the age old temple to Roman Catholic Church of St Francis. Three more Shaun’s bagged this evening at County Hall adjacent to this location. Now up to 41/109

I was at the Wetherspoons to spend a few hours with an old college friend who is up from Bristol for a few days. We’re going to go to Leeds Castle tomorrow.

Earlier in the day we were both busy in the garden, me preparing one side of Susan’s studio for repainting. Susan removing more of the No Mow May grasses.

I have some news to pass on about blipper MarionB from Ontario. I had an email from her daughter yesterday to say that Marion had fallen while at the cottage and has broken both arms. She’s understandably not feeling too good at the moment and will not be able to blip for a while.
