Boiled broccoli

With so many decisions jointly and amicably made on the (eye wateringly expensive) new kitchen, we've hit a stumbling block.  Martin and I cannot agree on a kitchen floor. 

With reference to *my* choice of vegetable for this evening's meal he remarked "we'll end up with a boiled broccoli floor if it were up to you".  This made me burst out laughing and smile all evening.  (Don't tell him).  
I'm sure we'll work it out...

It was an EB today, this sunflower is so tall I can't even see it's beautiful flower.
